Free agency template
Make the change clear before the work changes.

What does the template help you agree?
A scope change request records a proposed change to agreed work, why it is needed, its likely impact, and the decision required. Use the template to distinguish the client’s request from an authorized change before updating tasks, dates, or billing responsibilities.
Make it useful
Three steps
before you start.
Describe the request against the agreement
Refer to the current brief or scope version. State what is being added, removed, or changed and why the client needs it.
Assess the impact before committing
Ask the delivery owner to assess effort, dependencies, timing, and commercial implications. Label estimates and identify the assumptions behind them.
Record a decision and update the work
Confirm whether the change is approved, deferred, or declined through your agreed process. After approval, update the relevant records and tell the people affected.
