What does the template help you agree?
An agency project brief records what the engagement should achieve, what will be delivered, who owns each decision, and what the team needs before starting. This template gives those decisions a consistent structure; complete it together and confirm the agreed version before kickoff.
Make it useful
Three steps
before you start.
Complete it with the right people
Ask the account owner, delivery lead, and client decision-maker to resolve goals and responsibilities together. Mark unanswered questions rather than guessing.
Make the scope testable
Name the deliverables, exclusions, inputs, and review conditions. A team member should be able to tell what is ready to start and what still needs a decision.
Confirm the version at kickoff
Record who agreed the brief and when. Link the current version from the project context and use a separate decision for later scope changes.
