Check the cost behind the quote. Enter delivery effort, internal costs and the client fee to see your estimated profit and the fee implied by your target margin.
Private by design. Your inputs and comparisons stay in this tab.
Subtract internal delivery costs, contractors, other direct costs and allocated overhead from the client fee. Divide that profit by the fee to find the margin. The result reflects only the costs you enter, not necessarily your company’s net profit.

Client fee − total included cost
Use fees excluding separately collected sales tax or VAT. Exclude pass-through amounts unless their corresponding costs are included consistently.
Margin = profit ÷ fee × 100; target fee = cost ÷ (1 − target margin ÷ 100)
Margin divides profit by revenue. Markup divides profit by cost. They are different percentages.
Client fee ÷ entered delivery hours
This is revenue per entered hour, not take-home pay. It is unavailable when no internal hours are entered.
Before you decide
No. It includes only the costs entered for this project. Tax, financing, uncollected fees and omitted costs can change the outcome.
Yes. A fee below included cost produces a negative profit and margin. With a zero fee, profit is still calculated but margin is unavailable.
Compare estimated effort with actual time and expenses, then recalculate. The public calculator does not import records or create a financial report inside ClientCee.
